Maybe it just depends on what a person considers to be 'happy'?
Well, that's part of the problem. Most people look for these defining moments...or peaks...because that's what they think happiness is and those are difficult to come by everyday. It's the whole 'journey not the destination' thing. And (I cld be wrong) but happiness is strongly related to content and to me, it often seems like content is even harder to achieve than happiness. People never have enough...

Also, sorry about the late reply. I broke my leg the same night of my last post.
What I mean is, someone can be happy coz something great happened that day but the feeling fades. Especially if they are not content with their lives in general. But people who have counted their blessings and are content with their lot just seem to stay happy, if that makes sense. If not, can I blame it on the pain meds?
